3 simple ways to make the day special

Honor Them: Take time in the service to recognize all of the grandparents that are present that morning. Every grandparent is leaving a heritage with their lives and this is a moment to honor them. If they have grandchildren with them, you can have them stand as well.
Pray for Them: Have a special prayer of blessing over all of the grandparents and great grandparents in your church. This is a declaration and affirmation over grandparents that echoes their God-given generational influence. (see downloadable resources)
Give Them a Gift to Encourage Them in Their Spiritual Legacy: Prayer is one of the greatest legacies a Grandparent can leave.
